The Arbor Axis 40" complete longboard has a wide wheel base for smooth, stable turns. The symmetrical shape is inspired by Arbor's snowboard designs and allows you to ride equally well from either end. Drop through mounted trucks and a stiffer construction make this a fun, responsive ride for relaxed commutes and around-town cruising.

    Arbor Axis 40" Complete Longboard
This board is amazing. This is the first time I've bought a complete board online; it's everything I expected it to be. However, the wheels are really soft, but you could easily buy a different set and it'd still be an equally as awesome board.

Will this board be right for me? Im 135 lbs and have some experience. I plan on using it for cruising, carving, and the occasional hill. I also want to learn how slide. Will this board be good for that? Ive also looked at the gravity makai and the dervish sama but im afraid it might be too flexy to take down some mellow hills. Length isnt an issue and i need a little concave, but do like the spray on grip that comes with the axis. What do you think?

Yes, this will be a good set-up for all that. If you're still having problems getting it to slide you might just need to get some harder wheels.
