Overview
The Chicklet is made for kids who want to get the basics down first before moving to bigger hills. The convex base lifts the sides of the board upwards to decrease the chances of catching an edge and prevent painful falls. The soft, forgiving flex of the board allows you to easily transition from edge to edge for smooth, controlled turns. The board's profile is completely flat to improve all-around stability. Traction EVA foot pads allow you to work on getting balance down first without wearing bindings. For extra help learning, pick up a Burton Riglet Reel (sold separately) for easy towing across the flats before graduating to the bunny hill. Snowboarding is meant to be fun, so get the best start on a Chicklet.

Ride Style

Beginner/Casual Riding - These boards are great for lazy day carving on mellow groomers or even playing around off-trail. Great for beginners to intermediate or those just wanting to cruise around and have a no-worries good time on the hill. - generally soft to mid flexing boards designed for easy mobility and mellow turns without breaking the bank.

Flex Rating

PlayfulAggressive - Very Soft Flex - extremely mellow, easy-to-ride, playful buttery goodness for smaller riders, jibbing the park, casual riding, or for those just starting out

Shape

Twin - Typically designed for park and jib-influenced riding, this Twin shape snowboard category includes True Twins and Almost Twin (aka Twin-ish or Twin-like) boards with centered stances.

True Twins are symmetrical in shape/flex and will ride exactly the same regular or switch - while Almost Twins will ride equally well in both directions but may have a slightly lengthened (or heightened) nose than tail for a bit better float when riding your normal stance.

Primary Camber

Flat Dominant - *Note: profile image exaggerated for visual perspective, please see this brand's specific camber tech for more details

Secondary Camber

Rocker - Rocker (aka Reverse Camber) provides a hook-free, loose, fluid feel. Great for float in powder, park jibbing, and can be more forgiving for beginners.
