Overview
EST BINDINGS ARE ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH BURTON CHANNEL BOARDS. NO, REALLY.

The Malavita EST snowboard bindings combine Burton's high-end technology with a freestyle focused construction that's strong enough to take on the whole mountain. Years of fine tuning have earned these bindings star status with pros like Danny Davis and Jeremy Jones. EST bindings have less material beneath your boots to provide unlimited stance options and dramatically enhance board feel. This unique construction significantly cuts weight to decrease fatigue and increase your time on the hill. The dual component Hinge allows the binding to flex with your leg movements and boost power for higher ollies.

When switching from easy groomers to steeps, having the ability to quickly dial in your response is key. High-end components like a Heel Hammock and an asymmetrical Hammockstrap allow you to easily adjust on the fly when time is of the essence. Burton's exclusive DialFLAD system also lets you adjust the highback's forward lean without any tools. The Malavita comes tested and proven by the pros. You can trust these guys.

Ride Style

Park/Freestyle - Designed for park riding and for getting your tricks dialed in - from butter boxes to urban rails to your favorite park booters. These bindings generally have softer base flexes and mellow highbacks for better mobility when getting your tweak game on.

Aggressive Riding - Built tough for those on the charge and stepping up to bigger features - whether it's high-speed groomer assaults, heavy hitting jumps, dropping cliffs and chutes, or just ripping the whole mountain a new one - these bindings offer increased stability, power and overall "oomph" to your shred game.

Flex Rating

SoftStiff - Mid-Flex - good response and control for all-around riding leaning towards intermediate and advanced riders. Not too soft, not too stiff.

Key Features

EST Hinge Baseplate (for Burton Channel) - The dual component Hinge is an all new Burton exclusive technology that allows the heelhoop and baseplate to move independently for a never before felt lateral flex. Mimicking the biomechanical movements in skateboarding, The Hinge flexes dynamically with your leg, for increased foot-roll and more powerful ollies.

Dual materials throughout provides a softer flex under your foot for better response and edge control when you're ripping down the mountain.

Heel Hammock - This reinforced rubbery material wraps response around the heel of the boot. Run your straps a little looser and still get lighting fast response out of turns with your heel cradled in complete suspension.

Double Take Buckles with Insta-Click - Helical teeth and a complete rethink of the entire package results in "Insta-Click" immediate engagement, faster uptake, and fewer cranks to tightness. The result: vastly improved strength, speed and ease of use.

Flex Slider Ankle Strap Hinge - The Flex Slider makes strapping-in a breeze, thanks to a stretched hinging zone that allows the ankle strap to flex and fall fully open and out of the way of your boot. Easy in, easy out.

The Flex Slider is also stronger and worthy of Burton's Lifetime Warranty.

Lifetime Warranty (Limited, See Details) - Covered under manufacturer lifetime guarantee against breakage of the baseplate or heelcup along with defects in materials or workmanship. This lifetime warranty DOES NOT cover broken bindings due to abuse or neglect, damage caused by any modification done outside the manufacturer's facility, or lost parts due to lack of hardware maintenance.

Burton's Flex Slider hinged strap IS covered under their Lifetime Warranty.

Highbacks, other straps, ratchets and other binding components are not included under lifetime warranty.

Highback

Zero Forward Lean Hi-Back - Riders who prefer a more playful and relaxed feel will dig the new Zero Forward Lean design on select hi-backs. As always, you can still choose to crank 'em forward for quicker control when carving or climbing icy pipe walls.

Canted Hi-Back Design - This ergonomic design follows the natural contours of your left and right legs to maximize control.

DialFLAD Forward Lean Adjuster - The higher the forward lean angle on your Hi-Backs, the quicker your heel-edge turns. Crank 'em forward for icy hits in the pipe or back 'em off for jibbing.

DialFLAD features mind-blowing, tool-free adjustability for even easier adjusting than the FLAD.

Living Hinge Highback Adjustability - This Burton exclusive technology eliminates hardware and weight, and allows you to adjust your forward lean and hi-back rotation independently.

Straps

Asym Hammockstrap Ankle Strap - A stitch-less strap with 3D modeling that weaves a soft, ultralight hammock with a stiff spine to increase response and comfort. The asymmetrical Hammock allows you to flip the strap for increased freedom or run stock for power and support.

Super Grip Toe Capstrap - This minimalist design merges two materials into one technologically advanced toe strap. A firmer material in the spine provides a supportive and lightweight skeleton, while a softer over-molded material improves boot wrap and comfort.

Baseplate

30% Short-Glass/Nylon Base: Happy Medium - 30% Short-Glass/Nylon Composite Baseplate - A bit more responsive yet still plenty playful.

Why No Metal? - Why No Metal? Burton refuses to ride metal because it's too rigid, too heavy, and too likely to bend and distort. Instead, Burton crafts their bindings out of a variety of materials, each engineered to satisfy specific riding styles.

AutoCANT SensoryBED Cushioning System - Dual-density EVA automatically settles your boot into a natural position regardless of stance width or angles for improved comfort, reduced fatigue, and smoother, more direct board control.

B3 Gel Heel Cushioning - The same cushioning found in Burton's high-end boots are found in these binding footbeds, focused underneath the heels for unstoppable impact protection.

Snowboard Compatibility

Burton Channel - This binding is compatible with any Burton Channel M6 Snowboard built in 2011 or after. The Channel M6 is an exclusive Burton mounting system using a central spine for virtually endless binding adjustability.

Redesigned in the 2011 season, Burton has widened The Channel along with equipping it with the industry standard M6 hardware for enhanced connection to your snowboard and further compatibility. The Channel M6 allows you to micro-adjust stance width, angle, and toe-to-heel centering with ease while at the same time dispersing energy for added rebound and snap.

The Hype

Transworld Tested and Approved - This product has been Tested and Approved by Transworld Snowboarding to be one of the top performing products in its category.

Transworld enlisted the help of experienced gear testers to test hundreds of premium snow products. Much like Transworld's Good Wood award for snowboards, the Tested and Approved award is given to products that represent the best in their category.

Details

Re-Ground Materials to Reduce Waste - Burton believes that being environmentally and sustainably conscious is the best business practice out there. That is why they integrate recycled, re-ground material into the quality products they make everyday, which means less garbage in the landfill and more premium Burton gear for you.

Really have no complaints about these aside maybe from price but they seem worth it.
