Overview

Forest Bailey's pro model park board has an aggressive C3 rocker camber contour for control, precision and a serious amount of pop. If you're a park rat, you know the value of a tough board. The Head Space Asym has a resilient topsheet, a strong sintered base that holds wax like a champ and the sidewalls are made of a material that's hardy for impact deflection.

Features

Key Features

C3 Camber Rocker Profile - Engineered for high performance, Mervin's C3 profile utilizes mild rocker between your feet with powerful camber sections towards the tip and tail. This provides maximum edge hold and stability at high speeds while maintaining unmatched float and precision for expressive freestyle riding in powder and across the whole mountain.

Control / Precision / Power

Asym Sidecut: Balance Through Asymmetry - Asymmetric Sidecuts and construction balance the different turning mechanics required for heel-side and toe-side turns. Your body is asymmetric, which means your snowboard should also be asymmetric. Ride better and have more fun through asymmetry!

Magne-Traction Serrated Edges - Strategically placed bumps that create added contact points along each edge for increased grip and control in all conditions.

Core

G2 ASYM Eco Core - FSC certified and comprised of Aspen, Paulownia II (toeside) and Paulownia III (heelside), this core is light, poppy, and packs a ton of response. The Asymmetrical wood core layup allows the board to feel natural and effortless underfoot when engaging turns in all conditions.

UHMW External Sidewalls - Ultra High Molecular Weight exterior sidewalls made from soy-based elastomer are laminated to five internal wood layers for totally bombproof sidewalls. Fast, rugged, hard, waterproof.

Topsheet

Eco-Sub Poly Topsheet - This Polyester topsheet is tough, sheds snow and adds traction.

Base

Eco Sublimated Sintered Base - Fast, tough, and holds wax so your days in the park or out in a more urban environment stay lit from the first trick to the last. Less time adding wax or doing repairs means more time snowboarding, and that's all anyone really wants, right?

Warranty

1 Year Warranty - Covered under manufacturer warranty for 1 year from the time of purchase. Warranty includes structural defects only and DOES NOT cover impact damage, abuse, misuse or normal wear and tear expected from aggressive riding.

About Gnu

Mervin Made: EcoUNREAL Manufacturing - Core materials are sources from fast-growing, renewable forest products. Water-based solvents used for cleansing instead of petrochemical-based solvents. All wood sawdust is recycled as a soil additive, plus scrap wood is donated to a local Mood Wood company that packages it as kindling and resells it.

I want to get the 152 cm but not 100% on boot size. I'm concerned that if I get the 152 I may have toe drag when riding? My last boot was an 11 Nike Kaiju but it may have been too big.
Answered by Graig A (Tactics Employee) on 1/4/2018
The 152 is recommended for a boot size 10 and under. We would recommend finding out your exact boot size before anything. If you are 10.5-11 I'd say the 155 would be a better fit for that.

Is this asymmetric board for regular or goofy?
Answered by James D (Tactics Employee) on 2/16/2017
This is actually an Asymmetrical twin, meaning you can ride it with either stance. You just need to make sure your heels are on the correct side, which will be marked on the deck.

What bindings would you recommend with this board? I'm an intermediate to advance boarder wanting to enjoy all mountain.
Answered by Danny M (Tactics Employee) on 2/7/2017
I would definitely recommend the Union Force Bindings or the Burton Genesis bindings, both would be great for all mountain on that board!
