Keep up on all upcoming local events sponsored by Tactics. We'll host a variety of Eugene-area events throughout the year, including skateboard and snowboard competitions, movie premiers, special in-store events and fund raisers for local causes.

CONScrete Carnage - WJ Skatepark
12 noon to 7 p.m.
Tactics and Converse are team up for this "Skate Everything" contest. Not only with the podium winners take home cash and prizes, they'll also qualify to compete versus the regions top skaters during our inaugural Northwest Jam event on Aug. 22.

BONES will sponsor our second Northwest Jam qualifying event of the summer. Our top three local competitors will earn spots in the Northwest Jam event on Aug. 22.

Northwest Jam - WJ Skatepark
11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Our inaugural event was tremendous, with a solid turnout, outstanding sponsors and judges, a world-class MC in Emile Janicot and all that cash! Northwest Jam 2015 will be even better.

We’re raising the stakes, with $8,500 in total prize money. We’re opening up the $1,000 best trick contest to everyone. Seriously, if you’re at WJ that day and feel up to taking on the stair set,  you’ve got a shot at a grand. We’re inviting many of the top scorers from last year’s event, including champ Dalton Dern and finalists Zion O’Friel, Aniken Senn, Jake Selover and Nick Peterson. And they’ll get a stiff challenge from some top-shelf west coast pro-ams we’ve invited to take this competition to another level. Some of our tentative RSVPs include guys like Kevin Kowolski, Mason Merlino, Frank Shaw, Steven Reeves, Cody Lockwood and others.
