Preferring the security of MJ's high top, but appreciating the simple aesthetic of the Howard Select, Carrol was quick to solve one of his longstanding dilemmas by morphing both shoes to create this Howard High Top. Lakaitning sole construction makes this one of the lightest high tops in the biz.

Lakaitning Sole Technology:

This is sole construction you almost have to physically see to believe. With a look that resembles a vulcanized sidewall, but at less than half the weight and double the comfort, it's what you might call a wolf in sheep's clothing. That doesn't really sound that cool though, so they called it Lakaitning!
