I was looking for a stylish jacket on the slopes that was simple but highly waterproof. Neff Daily Softshell was exactly what I was looking for in my budget. For [$], you get a 10k waterproof rated jacket that's simple yet stylish and comes with a powder skirt. I'm 5'11'' and 170lbs. and Large fit me perfectly fine with enough room to layer inside. It's perfect for all seasons. My only complaint is the powder skirt. It's too flimsy and when you wear it, the skirt adds an odd bulkiness to the stomach area but otherwise this is a sick jacket.
