This added steepness gives you more to push against to gain leverage for longer, bigger slides, and is meant to keep your feet inside the wheelbase. In addition, while the Airship isn't symmetrical, it features a bidirectional design that gives the board a more normal feel and appearance when ridden switch.

Comments about Omen Airship 36.5" UNGRIPPED Longboard Deck:
Great deck. This was my first topmount board and i love it. It is super stable when you use the biggest wheelbase and super slidy/spinny when u use the smallest. I thought that this was only directional in the fact that it had a set nose and tail, but i was wrong. The entire bord is directional. The nose and tail are different, there is a slight taper (maybe 1-3mm just noticible enough) and the rocker is more agressive in the front to keep you locked in for days, while the back still lets you move your foot to get more leverage when needed.
