The Untracked jacket features a moisture-managing brushed interior lining in the upper body that increases warmth and comfort without extra bulk; and a slick, snow-shedding nylon lining in the lower body to provide a smooth glide when layering. Pit zips allow a cooling airflow for steamy days, but when it blows, a fully adjustable, low-profile powder skirt with a single snap seals out the powder. Coated, watertight Slim Zips throughout reduce bulk and weight, and a tweaked fit this season gives the Untracked a more tailored silhouette. All of this combined makes this Patagonia jacket a sure thing.

Patagonia Untracked Jacket - feather grey
Not enough pocket or heavy enough for cold days . I guess you can layer . But the retail price is a joke. It a $200 shell at best

Patagonia Untracked Jacket - wax red
This is a great jacket. Use it at the resort or in the back country either way it's awesome. I used for.both but primarily as my back country jacket. The fleece backing on the inside is a great touch keeps you warm when you reach a peak or ridge after a long skin up. But it's still a lightweight shell that is great w awesome coverage from the hood. I give it a 4 star just because it doesn't seem as durable as my other patagonia stuff. But true to patagonia I called and mentioned that I had concerns about the jacket holding up and the eyes replaced it free of charge. For sure you can't go wrong w patagonia and if you don't go w thus jacket/kit (the pants are even sicker than the jacket) try out the primo kit. Both are awesome choices
