The Patagonia Untracked jacket is one of their most popular for good reason. Now updated with a tailored silhouette, refined lines, embedded cord-lock system and a slick lining, this low bulk, weatherproof favorite is better than ever.

Starting with a water repellent coated triple layer GORE-TEX shell for superior windproof and waterproof/breathable performance, the Untracked lets vapor escape while shedding water to keep you protected from external moisture as well as moisture from within.

The interior liner features a moisture-managing brushed surface to increase warmth, while wicking away sweat as it forms. The nylon ripstop lining is durable and easily glides over underlayers for a bind-free range of motion. The handy pit zips let you regulate your temperature by sending a cool burst of air through the core chamber, stopping sweat dead in its tracks.

A jacket to pant interface and powder skirt help keep snow from flying into your jacket, so you can shred as hard as you like without worry of backsplash or spindrift. The two way adjustable hood is not only helmet compatible, but features an embedded lock system to provide easy adjustability on the fly.

Just in case things get particularly hairy, the RECCO concealed reflector lets you breathe easy with the knowledge that no matter what happens, you can be pinpointed with ease with radar technology used by over 700 avalanche and rescue organizations. So take your adventure off the beaten path without fear. You've got this covered.

Patagonia Untracked Jacket - wax red
This is a great jacket. Use it at the resort or in the back country either way it's awesome. I used for.both but primarily as my back country jacket. The fleece backing on the inside is a great touch keeps you warm when you reach a peak or ridge after a long skin up. But it's still a lightweight shell that is great w awesome coverage from the hood. I give it a 4 star just because it doesn't seem as durable as my other patagonia stuff. But true to patagonia I called and mentioned that I had concerns about the jacket holding up and the eyes replaced it free of charge. For sure you can't go wrong w patagonia and if you don't go w thus jacket/kit (the pants are even sicker than the jacket) try out the primo kit. Both are awesome choices
