Had high hopes that these would be really comforatable or durable. Wouldn't describe them as either of these things. the foam layers began to come appart on the heel pretty quickly. The hemp footbed looks kinda nasty after you've worn them a bit too - I think it retains some of your foot funk unless you wash them frequently.

Great sandals! I've gone through countless pairs of leather, rubber, reefs, rainbows, locals, all sandal types and these are the best for a few key reasons. When wet they actually grip your feet better. not like the leathers (which stain your feet) or the rubber (which get dangerously slick) these hold true and give you a good base. Also they have a good life span (2yrs is impressive for a guy who works in his) Don't funk up to bad and when they do just wash them with a little soap and a good hose.
