Salt water can be your best friend, but once you throw a surfboard into the mix you're going to need an extra layer of skin, which really just means a rash guard. The Tidal Wave offers a stretchable and non-restricting material blend to keep you chafe-free and maximum sun protection. Convinced? Great.

Comments about Rip Curl Tidal Wave L/S Women's Rash Guard - coral:
I bought this mainly for ocean watersports but did my first wear in the pool. I bought the XL having read reviews that said it ran small. I can't fit my DD chest in most rash guards and this one is plenty roomie. The neck doesn't choke like most rash guards. It's really stretchy and comfortable unlike most rash guards that feel like sports bras.
The one issue I had was that it ran profusely when I rinsed it out after being in the pool.
