Spitfire Soft D's Skateboard Wheels - white (92d)
Got some 54mm and was little too high off the ground for flips tricks. Popping ollies was weird because I was so high off the ground, but got used to it. Wears kind of fast too. The softness was cool. Push 4 times and cruise for blocks! I'm using 50mm Spits classics now, way better for my setup with high trucks.

I usually ride OJ keyframes, which are 87a. I wanted to try out some that were a little bit harder, but that would still get me over some rough terrain. So I got these spitfire wheels. These wheels grip well, but still allow you to slide fairly easily, unlike the key frames. On the other hand i find myself having to pick up and walk my board more than I had to with the keyframs. Bottom line: if you are thinking that these wheels will be soft enough to get over really rough roads it's not gonna happen. get some keyframes or even softer wheels.

    Good Compromise

Spitfire Soft D's Skateboard Wheels - white (92d)
I'm an ancient throwback from the mid 70's to early 80's, getting back into skating transition after about 30+ years. I found these wheels to be a good compromise between the sticky soft wheels I grew up on, and the hard technical wheels common today. I tried extremes on both ends, from Ricta Clouds to Bones SPF, these Spitfire Soft D's go good for me in the park, masonite ramps and easy street stuff.

These wheels tackle every surface, great all around. They're fast for 92A duro. I can skate with less noise on half pipe although they are not as fast as 100A wheels but I can still reach coping easily. You can do powerslides too, somehow they are not gripy.

    Do these hit peebles
Answered by James D (Tactics Employee) on 9/4/2014
Pebbles are going to be much easier to deal with on these wheels, I'd go with the 58mm
