Fully Taped - Having outerwear with fully taped seams means that on the inside of the jacket all the seams are covered in tape to provide the most effective waterproofing. It can be considered a key feature if you live in a wet climate or are planning on wearing the jacket during heavy rains. The downside is that due to the full taping there is less breathability than you'd experience with critically taped seams.
Hyperfresh™ - An antimicrobial, continuous synthetic polyester fill that is extremely light to the touch but retains up to 200% more warmth than traditional insulation.
Synthetic insulation is measured in grams, so a jacket with a 80g rating simply means that a 1 meter by 1 meter piece of that particular jacket's insulation weighs 80 grams. The higher the rating, the warmer the outerwear.
Boa® Compatible Boot Gaiter - Makes access to the Boa® dial on your boots convenient and easy.
Horseshoe Hem - The upward curved shape along the back pant leg hem opening.
InfiDRY® 2-Layer Construction - 686 2-Layer InfiDRY® fabric is perfect for daily use in a wide range of conditions. Specialty fabrics are laminated and bonded to a Polyurethane (PU) InfiDRY® membrane on the underside of the fabric. This membrane blocks water and snow from entering your garment, yet is hydrophilic on the inside - attracting any moisture inside your jacket (sweat) and moving it through to the outside of the fabric where it is able to evaporate, thus keeping you both dry and warm.
For further protection, the laminated fabric is then coated on the exterior with a water resistant DWR coating to repel snow and water from penetrating the fabric. This creates a superior fabric with a one-way portal for moisture that is virtually impenetrable from the outside, yet allows your body’s sweat to evaporate and pass through the fabric from the inside out creating a more comfortable riding experience.
Thermagraph - Scientifically positioned insulation panels are strategically placed to keep you warmer where your body needs it most, at the seat and knees, while still allowing maximum breathability and flexibility of your pants.
