The Flanders pants offer ultimate powder protection with 20k of waterproofing, fully taped seams and recycled polyester lining. The cuffs are reinforced for added durability, and tons of pockets provide ample space for all your goodies. Adidas topped these off with an articulated fit to keep you comfy without restricting your range of motion.
Fully Taped - Having outerwear with fully taped seams means that on the inside of the jacket all the seams are covered in tape to provide the most effective waterproofing. It can be considered a key feature if you live in a wet climate or are planning on wearing the jacket during heavy rains. The downside is that due to the full taping there is less breathability than you'd experience with critically taped seams.
Recycled Polyester - Approximately 31% of plastic bottles produced in the United States are made from a material called PolyEthylene Terephtalate, "PET" or "PETE." Usually clear or green, the plastic is mostly used for consumer goods such as soda bottles and food jars, but once recycled and processed, it has a wide variety of eco-friendly applications. While recycling is not the end-all, be-all solution for ridding the world of the plastic bag beast, it is a sustainable path for plastic products and takes less energy to produce than traditional polyester.
Cordura® Reinforced Cuffs - Cordura® fabric is extremely durable and resistant to tears, scuffs and abrasions which makes it the perfect fabric for reinforcing pant cuffs.
