The Converse Fastbreak was the elite basketball shoe on the market... in 1983, but this model has been reinvented to meet the needs of every skater in today's world. With features like molded OrthoLite sockliners for comfort, rubber backed nylon construction to increase durability, and Nike Zoom Air Bag heels for impact protection, this retro shoe has come back with a bang, and is ready to take on all of your skating needs.
Cupsole - Cupsoles are durable, well-cushioned and provide the best impact protection against hard landings. The sole consists of a single rubber layer, reinforced with glue then stitched to the upper. Cupsoles generally last longer than vulcanized soles, but don't provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.
Rubber Backed Nylon - Added durability thanks to the rubber backed nylon, the rubber layer is applied to the back of the nylon to enhance durability and extend the life of the upper, these shoes are tough.
Molded OrthoLite Sockliner - Specially developed Converse double density molded OrthoLite sockliner features heel and forefoot pads in high impact areas for energy dispersion.
OrthoLite foam fights against fungus, bacteria and odor through a patented environmentally friendly biocide
High level of breathability and moisture wicking, OrthoLite's open cell polyurethane foam is 95-100% breathable allowing air to circulate through the sockliner.
Zoom Air Bag Heel - Nike Zoom technology combines pressurized air with internal fibers to deliver highly responsive cushioning that springs back fast for maximum impact protection.
