The Dissent from Emerica is built to skate hard and last. Durable uppers and a welded toe cap make the shoe sturdy and reliable for long sessions with lots of flip tricks. The cupsole construction with a full length EVA midsole, and Die-Cut EVA insole provides stability and impact support. The Heel Anchor system keeps the shoes locked on your foot so you don't have any worries or distractions while your focused on landing that trick.
Cupsole - Cupsoles are durable, well-cushioned and provide the best impact protection against hard landings. The sole consists of a single rubber layer, reinforced with glue then stitched to the upper. Cupsoles generally last longer than vulcanized soles, but don't provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.
Heel Anchor System - An arc shaped foam padding that wraps around your ankles and is designed to keep your feet where you want them, locked into your shoes.
Rubber Toe Cap - Prevents blowouts from repeated flip tricks.
Die Cut Eva Insole - Ethyl Vinyl Acetate (EVA) insoles are a firmer material than you would find on standard orthotic insoles to offer better shock absorption while reducing the weight of the overall shoe.
Welded Toe Cap - The abrasion resistant toe cap is bonded to the upper without stitches, so that it can wear evenly and you don't have to worry about blowing out a seam.
Full Length EVA Midsole - Provides full-foot cushioning and impact protection.
