Everyone loves the ease of slip-ons. Emerica took the classic style of their original Winos, threw out the laces, and created this awesome shoe. The G6 polyurethane insole cushions hard landings, while the double-wrapped vulcanized sole improves durability. Emerica also dropped in their latest Heel Anchor System that locks in the fit to prevent slip. No matter where you walk, these shoes have you covered.

Vulcanized - “Vulc” shoes are light, flexible and break in quickly. The sole consists of several layers of rubber, glued together then attached to the upper with rubber foxing tape. Vulcanized soles don’t provide as much foot protection or support as cupsoles, but they are preferred if you’re looking for good board feel in a shoe with less weight and bulk.
Details
G6 Insole - A lightweight, high-rebound foam cushion insole to help absorb impacts from hard landings.
Elastic Tongue-Centering Straps - Keeps the tongue from sliding down sideways while you're skating.
Heel Anchor System - An arc shaped foam padding that wraps around your ankles and is designed to keep your feet where you want them, locked into your shoes.
Triangle Tread - Emerica's Triangle Tread pattern provides maximum grip for more confident skating.
One Piece Toe - A one piece toe allows the upper material to wear evenly, without worrying about blowing out a seam

Great Looking Shoe!

My only pair of slip-ons prior to these were the Vans slip-on pros, so that's what I'll compare these to. These are definitely more snug with less heel slippage due to the higher collar and "heel anchor," which I was surprised to find actually works very well. The impact protection is actually a little better, too. Both these and the Vans have a thick, supportive insole, but the Vans' insole is a lot thicker in the heel compared to the forefoot, to the point where I almost feel like I'm tiptoeing around. The Wino's insole support is more even distributed, so instead of tons of heel support and no forefoot support, you get more like medium support all around. These look better as well. The foxing tape on the Vans is super high and thick and makes the shoes look kinda clownish. Overall, just a good looking, good skating vulc slip-on with great fit and pretty good impact protection as far as vulcs go. I went with my normal Emerica/Vans size and they're great.

Would these fit as snug as the provost slip on did?

These will fit very similar to the provost slip ons and are more narrow.
