Overview

This vegan high top was designed for Ryan Lay, and it should come as no surprise, Ryan is vegan. This animal friendly design isn't merely animal friendly though, it features a hidden toe cap for more durability and it offers the protection of a cupsole with more board feel, something Etnies calls their Faux-Vulc construction. They're able to achieve this through an innovative egg-crate midsole design that brings you the best of both worlds.

Sole

Cupsole - Cupsoles are durable, well-cushioned and provide the best impact protection against hard landings. The sole consists of a single rubber layer, reinforced with glue then stitched to the upper. Cupsoles generally last longer than vulcanized soles, but don't provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.

Details

Foam Lite 1 Insole - Foam Lite 1 insoles are formulated with Ortholite and provide maximum long lasting comfort for your feet. The insoles also wick away moisture to keep your feet dry and contain a biocide to fight odor.

Faux Vulc Tech - Thanks to the egg-crate construction at the midsole this cupsole shoe offers more board feel than your typical cupsole.

Vegan - Developed with animal-friendly materials.

How do these fit compared to Converse high tops? Is the sizing similar?
Answered by Graig A (Tactics Employee) on 6/21/2017
I would recommend a half size up from what you order in converse but other than that they will have a similar feel.
