Etnies brings you Chris Joslin's first pro model shoe. Chris designed these shoes to withstand the abuse of skateboarding day in and day out. These shoes feature the Michelin outsoles which last three times longer than standard skate shoe soles. Underneath the durable single piece toe is a hidden toe cap that goes from the toe box, all the way past the ollie area, ensuring a long life of the shoe. These shoes are just like Chris Joslin's skating, unstoppable.
- Chris Joslin
- A toe cap hidden under the upper material extends from the toe box all the way through the ollie area, giving you maximum durability and longevity even after wearing through the upper material.
- Pro Foam 1 Insole
- One Piece Toe
- Michelin Outsole Technology
- STI Evolution™ Foam
- Padded Collar And Tongue
- Inset Eyelets For Lace Protection
Cupsole - Durable and shock-absorbing to provide the best impact protection against hard landings. Cupsoles generally last longer than a vulcanized sole but don't provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.
Pro Foam 1 Insole - Pro Foam is the next step up from the Foam Lite insole and provides added cushioning and support while skating. These PU foam based insoles also provide great comfort. Pro Foam 1 is made of single density PU foam.
One Piece Toe - A one piece toe allows the upper material to wear evenly, without worrying about blowing out a seam
Michelin Outsole Technology - Using a custom formula from Michelin tire manufacturer, this outsole lasts three times longer than a standard outsole without sacrificing grip or boardfeel.
STI Evolution™ Foam - STI Evolution™ Foam replaces EVA, PU, and heavy rubber with a durable, impact resistant, and ultra lightweight cushioning foam that can be used as a single solution for the midsole and outsole of skate shoes.
The Joslin Pro is sleek, padded, and super comfortable! These will protect your feet if your jumping down stuff or getting technical on some ledges/manuals. Also, they're durable while looking so simple and understated.
They are a moderate cupsole and fit similar to the Marana Michelin, so not too bulky like an Accel OG or Lynx, but not slim like a Romero Laced. I would say these are a good Reynolds G6 replacement if you can't find that model from Emerica anymore.
These shoes do run small, so 0.5 size up from your standard/vulc size for the ideal balance between snugness and comfort. For reference, I am an 11 in Kyle Walker Pros, Accel OG, Accel Slim, Reynolds G6, Lynx, and Silo, while I am an 11.5 in these and the Marana Michelins.
Get these shoes and support the skater owned/run companies!! You will not be disappointed in skating these. I can get at least 1.5 - 2 quality months out of skating these almost every day doing flip tricks and jumping off stuff! Highly recommend!
