The Globe Chromantic longboard is made for carving and general transportation, but where it lifts the bar is in aesthetics. The top and bottom of the board feature cherry and white oak woods with tortoise shell edge detail and inlays to upgrade the overall appearance. It might seem over the top, but Globe knows you're worth it.

Commuter - Longboards for general cruising, ideal for experienced skaters and beginners alike. Never make the boring mistake of walking again!
Top Mount - The classic skate mount. Trucks are mounted from the top to sit flush with the bottom of the board for that proven ride and feel.
Standard - Standard decks are the most predictable and some swear they break-in better than other profiles. Great for any skill level.
Directional - Directional decks may have a dramatically asymmetrical shape or just a slight taper which can be great for anything from mild cruising to intense downhill; but of course it's all just preference.
Kicktail - Kicktails on longboards can be used to ollie, manual, and do flip tricks just like on a regular skateboard.
Wheel Wells/Flares - For the boards that don't need full wheel cutouts, wheel wells are beveled out of the board to give the extra clearance needed to avoid wheelbite.
Mild Concave - Most longboards have a mild concave to give your feet natural curves to lock into. Choosing the right concave can be tough because it's all personal preference but mild concave is always a good place to start.
Cherry Wood / Oak Construction - A strong and naturally rot resistant oak veneer is used in combination with the beautiful and flexible cherry bottom ply to make this richly colored skateboard.
