Fully Taped - Having outerwear with fully taped seams means that on the inside of the jacket all the seams are covered in tape to provide the most effective waterproofing. It can be considered a key feature if you live in a wet climate or are planning on wearing the jacket during heavy rains. The downside is that due to the full taping there is less breathability than you'd experience with critically taped seams.
Polyester Fill - Polyester insulation may not be as warm or light as down, but it's far easier to clean and performs better in wet conditions. If cost is a concern or you live in a wet climate then polyester insulation might be your best option.
80/20 PFOA Free DWR - 80/20 DWR means that 80% of the DWR remains after 20 washings. It puts the Durable in Durable Water Repellent. As an added bonus this DWR is PFOA Free which drastically reduces the harmful emissions that traditional DWR creates.
