HUF looked to their roots for inspiration with the Hupper 2 skate shoes. A flexible vulcanized sole sits atop a long-lasting geometric tread for responsive board feel and control. The higher foxing tape extends the life of the upper by boosting durability against griptape.
A hidden rubber toe cap under the vamp helps the Hupper hold up to endless flip tricks. A removable, dual density foam insole improves impact protection for longer sessions with less pain. The Hupper 2 is the slim silhouette you know and love from past years, just better.
Vulcanized - “Vulc” shoes are light, flexible and break in quickly. The sole consists of several layers of rubber, glued together then attached to the upper with rubber foxing tape. Vulcanized soles don’t provide as much foot protection or support as cupsoles, but they are preferred if you’re looking for good board feel in a shoe with less weight and bulk.
Rubber Toe Cap - Adds durability and a unique look.
Anti-Microbial Midsole - Fights against the bacteria that creates odor, helping keep your shoes smell better, longer.
Infinity Rubber Outsole - A specially formulated rubber compound that is significantly more durable and grippier than standard rubber formulas. The rubber's chemistry is fine-tuned to produce a softer, stickier feel improving grip performance on a skateboard. The softer durometer of the rubber also maximizes flexibility to aid board feel, while simultaneously outlasting standard rubbers in abrasion testing.
