Key Features

Jones Directional Rocker - A hybrid rocker/camber flex pattern defined by more tip rocker then tail rocker and slight camber between the bindings. The rocker tip gives the nose added float and improves maneuverability while the camber underfoot gives you added edge hold and response. A slightly rocker tail maintains the power and stability of a traditional board but helps keep the tail catch-free initiating turns and landing switch.

Traction Tech 2.0 - Like a serrated knife slicing into the snow, Traction Tech improves your edge grip by adding multiple contact points along the running length of your board.

“Traction Tech is a critical feature for rockered boards. Rocker improves glide in mixed conditions, but the decreased edge contact makes it harder to really lock into your turns and hold a solid edge. Traction Tech is crucial to offset the edge drift of rocker.” - Jeremy Jones

Master Core - Dual density full premium wood poplar and paulownia core designed to maximize lightness and damping. More damping means less chatter and fewer vibrations for a smoother ride.

Triax Fiberglass - This lightweight, multi-axis, stitched fiberglass laminate provides torsional stiffness, pop and response for a precise controlled ride in a multitude of terrain and snow conditions.

Carbon Stringers - Carbon stringers are added to select models to improve pop, torsional stiffness and increase the longevity of the flex profile. This lightweight layer helps the board perform the same on day 100 as it did on day one. Precise and playful.

Sintered 9900 Base - Made from Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) and Carbon. This ultra-fast base is easy to repair and extremely quick on snow.

Backcountry Magazine Editor's Choice - This product has received the prestigious Editors' Choice Award from Backcountry Magazine!

According to Backcountry, outstanding tester response, exceptionally high scores, and category-leading overall performance contributed to their selection of this product for their Gear Guide Editors' Choice.

ISPO Award Winner - This product has been awarded as one of the best in the sporting goods industry by an independent jury of experts. The ISPO Award stands for innovation, superior design and outstanding performance.

Splitboard Magazine Best Freeride Splitboard Award Winner - Splitboard Magazine has honored this product with the Best Freeride Splitboard Award for its innovative design and freeride performance.

Progressive Sidecut - Delivers smoother turn initiation and exit as the edge tracks in and out of the snow with a less abrupt transition.

Blunt Nose = Float - How a board glides in powder, crust, corn or any snow condition more than an inch deep is dictated by its front contact point and just past it. Next time you are in soft snow, watch how much snow comes over the corner of the nose near the contact point. The billowing snow means you are plowing through it, which is obviously slowing you down. By adding a blunt nose you get the float benefits of a much longer board tip without the added length or swing weight.

Stainless Steel Hardware - Stainless steel plates are embedded into the nose and tail for improved board tip durability.

Bolt-Less Bridge - This construction technique eliminates base hardware, allowing for better glide.

Quick Tension Tail Clip - All Jones splitboards feature a notch cut into the tail of both skis that allows the Quick Tension Tail Clip fastener to simply slide into the notch and secure the skin.

Karakoram Ultra Clip - Karakoram Ultra clips are lower profile, stronger and increase compression between board halves.

Eco-Plastic Topsheet - Bio plastic topsheet made from Castor beans. This eco-material is ultralight, chip/scratch resistant and water/snow repellent, which means less obnoxious snow to kick off.

Flip Flop Base Graphics - By flip-flopping the base graphic colors, P-Tex waste is drastically reduced by increasing the material yield.

Recycled ABS - ABS plastic is one of the necessary evils of snowboard production. Jones improves the sustainability of their snowboards by only using recycled plastic.

1% For The Planet - Jones Snowboards has committed to contribute at least one percent of their annual sales to environmental causes. The mission of 1% for the Planet is to "build, support and activate an alliance of businesses financially committed to creating a healthy planet."

Oversize Recycled Steel Edges - All Jones boards are made with oversize recycled steel edges for added durability and improved production sustainability.

Supports "Protect Our Winters" - Protect Our Winters (POW) was started in 2007 by pro snowboarder Jeremy Jones, owner of Jones Snowboards, who witnessed first-hand the impact of climate change on North America's mountains.

After being turned away from areas that had once been ride-able and seeing resorts closed due to lack of snow, Jones decided to take action by founding POW, whose mission is to engage and mobilize winter sports communities to educate others about the growing problem of climate change and its negative effects on the environment.

Jones Snowboards Solution Splitboard (Closeout)
I live and play in the back country of Alaska and when Jeremy jones came out with a split board I knew it was finally time to get one. I had been waitin seeing as no other company had really impressed me with anything from their product lines. The board is amazingly light but is also the best board I have ever ridden. The directional rocker design makes it almost impossible to bury the nose and coupled with the Karakoram binding system this is the most advanced bomber backcountry snowboard you can buy. Rode at least sixty days on this bad boy this year and with the magnatraction it is a dream on any terrain going up or down. I there's one name in backcountry technology you can trust its Jeremy Jones. I would reccomend this board to anyone.

Good for a split board but...

Jones Snowboards Solution Splitboard (Closeout)
Too flexy at the connection joint, yet rides stiff on the edges. Still great for a split board but this whole category and technology have a long way to go. Not nearly as good a ride as an all mountain board and needs to be lighter for back country and more stable at speed.
