The Lakai XLK skate shoes were re-issued in a Mike Carroll pro model. They feature reflective highlights, breathable mesh underlay panels, durable suede upper, and an XLK cup-sole providing support, and copious board feel.
- Mike Carroll
- Breathable Mesh Underlay Panels
- Reflective Highlights
Cupsole - Durable and shock-absorbing to provide the best impact protection against hard landings. Cupsoles generally last longer than a vulcanized sole but don't provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.
XLK™ Construction - Lakai's precision molded rubber cupsole with a drop-in soft EVA midsole for comfort and impact absorption.

Cons: if you're planning on skating them, I'd go with the black because this leather is stiff (and also who wants to skate leather shoes when suede exists)
Really need to break them in for the top to be comfortable
I wear a 9.5 in some shoes and a 10 in others and the 10s here fit snug, so if you're inbetween sizes go up
