Another feature in this construction is in the tip and tail. Using a thinner tip and tail with an extended core spins are easier than ever. The sintered base will have you exploring the toughest of terrains at lightning-fast speeds while the UHMW sidewalls, tip and tail keep your ride chatter free and even help fend off dings and dents along the edges. Birch is placed around the edges too, but add pop as well as durability.
When you want extreme control and float, get a board like this one that features Lib's C2X camber/rocker profile. The camber sections under your feet are lengthened and exaggerated out to the end of the contact patch for extra umph while a shortened rocker area makes the float big and the carves deep.
