Sole

Cupsole - Cupsoles are durable, well-cushioned and provide the best impact protection against hard landings. The sole consists of a single rubber layer, reinforced with glue then stitched to the upper. Cupsoles generally last longer than vulcanized soles, but don't provide as much flexibility and board feel right out of the box.

Technology

Laser Perforation - Adds breathability to the shoe so your feet feel better when you're working up a sweat.

One Piece Quarter Panel and Vamp - This construction method means no seam obstruction and removes the possibility of blowouts so you can skate these shoes even longer.

TPU Bonded Suede - An upper made of this material adds durability and effectively extends the life of your shoes.

Mesh Tongue - Allows for greater breathability which means your feet feel better while you're shredding that 'crete.

Injection Molded EVA Insole - Offers a consistent fit with superior cushioning and reduced weight.

REVlite EVA Midsole - REVlite is an innovative foam compound providing the responsiveness and durability of foams 30% heavier. REVlite offers a lightweight ride without minimizing construction or sacrificing underfoot cushioning or stability.

NDurance Rubber - N-Durance is a highly durable rubber compound that increases the lifespan of this shoe's outsole.

Too narrow in the toe box. Way too narrow

New Balance PJ Stratford 533 Skate Shoes
These shoes could be great except for the extremely narrow toe box. You can't even wiggle your toes in them and your foot feels compressed. For me it made the shoe totally unbearable and unwearable. Very disappointing.

First of all, great looking shoe. But they are extremely narrow in the toes, I mean a lot. Which is weird for New Balance, mostly because they are known for their wider sizing. And I realize that these are standard width. But they are kinda uncomfortable. I guess it's just the shoes themselves. Which really sucks, because I really like the way they look.

Really stiff soles

The soles on these are really stiff. To the people saying they break in over time, I think they are just getting used to them. I stopped skating them for a bit after they were fully broken in then came back to them about a month later and they felt really hard to bend.

Some people like that feel so this is great for them.

Hey what size format are you displaying your shoes? Is it American?
Answered by Elijah W (Tactics Employee) on 5/23/2016
Yes, we are using the US sizes for our website. But if you click the "size chart" button above them it will pop up with all of the corresponding sizes for UK and EU.
