Nike SB and the NBA teamed up to bring a unique skate shoe to all of you Basketball loving skateboarders out there. As you skate in the shoe, the black paint wears off and reveals your favorite basketball team's colors. The laceless design makes them easy to slip on and off but still hold secure while skating. The vulc construction with Herringbone tread provides lasting flexibility, boardfeel, and grip. The midsole has been cored out to reduce weight, and a Zoom Air unit in the sock liner keeps your feet happy. The same Janoski Slip you know and love with some unique NBA flare.
Vulcanized - “Vulc” shoes are light, flexible and break in quickly. The sole consists of several layers of rubber, glued together then attached to the upper with rubber foxing tape. Vulcanized soles don’t provide as much foot protection or support as cupsoles, but they are preferred if you’re looking for good board feel in a shoe with less weight and bulk.
Cored Out Rubber Outsole - Interior of the rubber outsole is cored out in a honeycomb pattern for weight reduction and flexibility.
Herringbone Tread - The herringbone pattern is frequently used in basketball shoes for its ability to provide optimal traction on smooth surfaces.
Zoom Air Unit in Sockliner - Nike Zoom cushioning is incredibly thin and brings the foot closer to the ground for enhanced stability, especially during quick cuts and multi-directional movements.
After impact, the tightly stretched fibers inside the pressurized air unit quickly bounce back into shape, providing a super-responsive feel and improved awareness of the surface you’re on.
Perforations at Side - The perforations on the side of the shoe allows moisture and heat to escape providing a more comfortable wearing experience.
