The OJ II Team Rider Speedwheel skateboard wheels from OJ III work great for charging parks, but are softer than most street durometers for a smoother roll through rough terrain. These team editions can also take a killer slide when needed. Who knew so much good stuff could be in one wheel? OJ, that's who.
Standard - Your classic wheel shape, it's not built to excel in specific scenarios like a narrow or wide wheel, but it's appropriate for most situations. If you're new to skating this is where you want to start.
Smooth - Smooth wheels have less surface friction than treaded wheels and are easier to slide.
97a - A versatile wheel best used for rougher terrain like craggy streets, ditches or pools or even masonite and metal ramps. Hard enough that sliding is still doable while soft enough for a smooth roll and plenty of grip. Great for beginning riders until they gain the control needed for harder durometers.
Most urethane skate wheels generally range from 75a-101a, the numbers increase with the hardness of the wheel.
