Built with 60g of Thermogreen insulation, this 3-in-1 snowboard jacket keeps you warm and cozy in the coldest winter conditions. The jacket can be worn as a shell, light insulation or a waterproof, insulated jacket depending on how you configure the reversible zip-in liner. The waterproof zippers, DWR coating and jacket to pant interface help lock out snow and ice while the under arm venting ensures you don't overheat when you work up a sweat. The built in RECCO system was installed to help keep you safe in the backcountry in case of an avalanche so you can make it home after every excursion. Get out and push your boundaries this season in this versatile Snowbelle 3-in-1 jacket.
RECCO - RECCO is an advanced avalanche rescue system hidden in this outerwear that will save your butt when you need it. RECCO is utilized by more than 700 rescue organizations worldwide to assist in the efficient location of burials. RECCO technology enables rapid directional pinpointing of a victim's precise location using harmonic radar. Hopefully you'll never have to use it, but if you do you'll be glad it's there.
Critically Taped - On outerwear with critically taped seams you only have taping at the key points where potential leakage can occur. This is acceptable, or even advantageous if you live in a dry climate, if you're more concerned with breathability than dealing with wet weather then outerwear featuring critically taped seams is the way to go.
Thermogreen® - Lightweight 100% polyester (90% recycled) that stays warm, even when wet.
Synthetic insulation is measured in grams, so a jacket with a 80g rating simply means that a 1 meter by 1 meter piece of that particular jacket's insulation weighs 80 grams. The higher the rating, the warmer the outerwear.
Recycled Polyester - Approximately 31% of plastic bottles produced in the United States are made from a material called PolyEthylene Terephtalate, "PET" or "PETE." Usually clear or green, the plastic is mostly used for consumer goods such as soda bottles and food jars, but once recycled and processed, it has a wide variety of eco-friendly applications. While recycling is not the end-all, be-all solution for ridding the world of the plastic bag beast, it is a sustainable path for plastic products and takes less energy to produce than traditional polyester.
bluesign® Approved - Patagonia has worked with the independent bluesign standard since 2000 to evaluate and reduce resource consumption and to screen raw materials, including dyes and finishes used in Patagonia's supply chain.
bluesign technologies, based in Switzerland, audits the energy, water and chemical usage of its members and helps them achieve continuous, long-term environmental improvement.
H2No® Performance Standard - H2No Performance Standard is Patagonia’s benchmark for waterproof, breathability and durability, which ensures a high level of long-term performance backed by their Ironclad Guarantee. H2No Performance Standard products undergo the most rigorous testing in the industry. The H2No Performance Standard for waterproof shell garments is 20,000mm before, and 10,000mm after their Killer Wash test (per JIS L 1092 B).
