Overview

Don't let the freezing winter weather keep you from going out and enjoying yourself, the Patagonia Snowbelle Stretch pants will have you feeling warm and cozy like a cup of hot cocoa by the fire. These pants are built with BlueSign® approved 2-Layer H2No® Polyester stretch fabric, which gives you durable, breathable, and waterproof protection while also giving you a full range of motion. Reinforced cuffs and boot gaiters boost the durability and lock out snow, while inner thigh venting allows you to cool down when you start to work up a sweat. The waist has elastic Velcro adjustments for a perfect fit, and a loop in the back connects to the powder skirt of your jacket. Concealed in the pants is a RECCO® avalanche rescue reflector for some added security on the mountain. Get out and push your boundaries this season in a pair of Snowbelle pants.

Safety

RECCO® - RECCO® is an advanced avalanche rescue system hidden in this outerwear that will save your butt when you need it. RECCO® is utilized by more than 700 rescue organizations worldwide to assist in the efficient location of burials. RECCO® technology enables rapid directional pinpointing of a victim's precise location using harmonic radar. Hopefully you'll never have to use it, but if you do you'll be glad it's there.

Seams

Critically Taped - On outerwear with critically taped seams you only have taping at the key points where potential leakage can occur. This is acceptable, or even advantageous if you live in a dry climate, if you're more concerned with breathability than dealing with wet weather then outerwear featuring critically taped seams is the way to go.

Insulation

Thermogreen® - Lightweight 100% polyester (90% recycled) that stays warm, even when wet.

Insulation Rating (g)

Synthetic insulation is measured in grams, so a jacket with a 80g rating simply means that a 1 meter by 1 meter piece of that particular jacket's insulation weighs 80 grams. The higher the rating, the warmer the outerwear.

H2No® Performance Standard - H2No Performance Standard is Patagonia’s benchmark for waterproof, breathability and durability, which ensures a high level of long-term performance backed by their Ironclad Guarantee. H2No Performance Standard products undergo the most rigorous testing in the industry. The H2No Performance Standard for waterproof shell garments is 20,000mm before, and 10,000mm after their Killer Wash test (per JIS L 1092 B).

bluesign® Approved - Since 2000, Patagonia has been working with bluesign® to evaluate and reduce resource consumption in the material supply chain.

bluesign® offers the highest level of consumer safety employing methods and materials in their manufacture that conserve resources and minimize impacts on people and the environment.

Material Explanation

Recycled Polyester - There are over 5.25 trillion pieces of plastic debris floating in the oceans. Recycled polyester won't fix that but this is better for the Earth than creating virgin polyester for products.
