The Frozen Flow Insulated jacket is a stylish tailored fit jacket made with DryFlight® technology and fully taped seams to provide breathable and waterproof protection to keep you dry all day long. Thinsulate™ insulation keeps you toasty without adding bulk, and mesh underarm vents keep you cool if you end up boot packing your own trail. Adjustable cuffs and hood give you a perfect fit, and HydroSmart material on the collar keeps your face soft and moisturized.
Fully Taped - Having outerwear with fully taped seams means that on the inside of the jacket all the seams are covered in tape to provide the most effective waterproofing. It can be considered a key feature if you live in a wet climate or are planning on wearing the jacket during heavy rains. The downside is that due to the full taping there is less breathability than you'd experience with critically taped seams.
Thinsulate™ - 3M Thinsulate™ insulation is constructed from unique, high-loft microfibers for increased warmth with less bulk. 3M Thinsulate™ is breathable, water-resistant and durable, all while improving mobility.
Synthetic insulation is measured in grams, so a jacket with a 80g rating simply means that a 1 meter by 1 meter piece of that particular jacket's insulation weighs 80 grams. The higher the rating, the warmer the outerwear.
Tailored Fit - Roxy's slimmest silhouette makes for a stylish crossover piece that goes smoothly from slope to street, with the added function of keeping your backside warm in the snow. It hits at mid-thigh and is comfortably fitted through the torso.
Recycled Polyester - Approximately 31% of plastic bottles produced in the United States are made from a material called PolyEthylene Terephtalate, "PET" or "PETE." Usually clear or green, the plastic is mostly used for consumer goods such as soda bottles and food jars, but once recycled and processed, it has a wide variety of eco-friendly applications. While recycling is not the end-all, be-all solution for ridding the world of the plastic bag beast, it is a sustainable path for plastic products and takes less energy to produce than traditional polyester.
Jacket to Pant Interface - Connect your jacket to your pants for better protection from the elements.
