Carving & Pintail - Deep carves, boardwalk cruising, and mellow hills are calling you. This is the traditional Californian longboard and is still relevant today. You'll find the longest wheelbases in this category meant for big turns and a large surface area for dancing.
Drop Through - Drop Through boards lower your center of gravity, giving you a more responsive and stable ride. Trucks are mounted through the board and truck bases will sit either flush or slightly above the deck surface. Great for high speed assaults or even cruising around town to your local watering hole.
Note: If assembling yourself, you'll first need to remove your longboard truck hanger from its base by unscrewing the kingpin. Once separated, reassemble the trucks through the mounting area (sandwiching the board between the hanger/base of the truck), then tighten the kingpin nuts and you're ready to roll.
Camber - Camber gives you a charged feeling underfoot and better leverage for turns. Camber boards can feel a bit more like a spring at first, but any rider will appreciate how this makes the board responsive. Camber boards are especially fun for commuter decks, freestyle, and cruisers where you'll be carving a lot.
Directional - Directional boards might have concave towards the front, maybe the tail is tapered, it could be shaped to have a fatter nose than tail, and it probably feels awkward if you hop on backwards. However, when you want to pump a board, or you want to have something that sets you up for the fastest line, directional boards are great. Whether you are looking for a really responsive directional board for carving and cruising or a precision downhill deck, a directional board could be in your future.
Cutouts - With big wheels you need lots of room to carve and dig into turns, cutouts around the wheels provide the extra space required to prevent wheelbite while cutouts for your trucks appear on drop through decks so you can ride closer to the ground.
Sector 9 Sidewinder Series - The Sidewinder Series boards are built up with the legendary sidewinder truck, the sidewinder boards are your go to vehicle for deep carves and responsive slashes.
Double kingpin trucks means a quicker turning radius allowing you to go deeper in your carves than ever before.
8 Ply Maple - Cold climate maple from North America is the time-tested standard in skateboard construction. To make this deck, Sector 9 presses together 8 plies of cold climate maple to give you a board that is nice, responsive and super durable.
Concave / Camber Mold - Concaved so your feet know where they're at, with added camber from nose to tail. The camber design gives the board a springy forgiving feeling that improves carving response.
10" Gullwing Sidewinder II Trucks - Features their double stack design for maximum lean and carving. Old school and new school mounting pattern, this double kingpin carving truck is a guaranteed fun ride.
69mm (78a) Top Shelf Wheels - TS wheels are the ultimate cruiser wheels. Soft enough to roll over rough concrete and debris and a wide contact patch of 49mm for grip, these mid-size wheels will keep you in control.
ABEC 5 Greaseball Bearings - Get your roll on right! This deck comes equipped with ABEC5 durable Greaseball Bearings.
