DriWix 3-Layer Face Foam - Increased density in base layer foam reduces hot spots helping form a tighter seal on the face. Mid-layer foam provides a plush comfortable layer, perfectly sealing on the face and absorbing sweat and moisture. Fleece lining is soft against the skin for long-lasting comfort.
Dual Slide Strap Adjustment - Allows for easy and secure fit adjustment on the go.
Responsive Fit Frame Design - The Responsive Fit design allows the frame to adjust and flex to the contours of your face. By reducing material and creating a flexible architecture, Smith's frames act like a suspension system that micro-adjusts to your unique facial structure, ensuring a precise, comfortable fit.
Ultra-Wide, Silicone Backed Strap - High quality, durable, double-woven strap features a silicone bead for superior helmet compatibility. Distributes pressure evenly around the head for an excellent fit, adjustability and comfort.
Spherical Carbonic-X Lens - Smith has set the standard in lens performance. Each lens is individually molded to offer optimum scratch and impact resistance, increased visual acuity, and enhanced contrast sensitivity. The inner lens is impregnated with Smith's Anti-Fog lens treatments for increased anti-fog performance. The Carbonic-X lens meets Class 1 optical standards as well as ANSI Z80.3 standards.
100% UVA/B/C Protection - All Smith lenses provide 100% protection from harmful UVA/B/C rays.
ChromaPop - ChromaPop lenses are the most advanced polarized lenses in the world and allow you to see true colors more quickly to maximize your visual experience. By blocking color wave intersections as they pass through the lens, ChromaPop is able to eliminate color confusion, enabling you to see the outside world with an unparalleled level of vibrancy beyond normal capabilities.
*Available only on select colors.
Fog-X Lens Treatment - Smith's Fog-X treatment employs a hydrophilic, micro-etched surface to absorb moisture and disperse it over a wide surface area to prevent fogging. Because it is physically carved into the lens, it can't be wiped away like other fog treatments.
Tapered Lens Technology (TLT) - When light passes through a medium, it refracts, or changes course. If left uncorrected, this refraction can cause visual distortion and eye fatigue. Smith's Tapered Lens Technology straightens out the incoming light rays by progressively tapering the lens from the optical center toward the peripheral view. What this means for you is that you see with 100% accuracy and maximum comfort.
Lenses come in a variety of colors and tints, all of which carry their own unique Visible Light Transmission (VLT) rating. VLT rates how much light a lens allows to pass through and is scaled 0-100%. Goggles and lenses with VLT ratings closer to 0% will block out more light, while lenses closer to 100% will allow more light to pass through for better visibility in low light conditions. Often times, lenses come with versatile VLT ratings which fall somewhere in the middle of the spectrum allowing them to provide good visibility in a variety of conditions.
Smith ChromaPop Storm Rose Flash Lens - VLT Rating: 50%
Excels In: Variable Conditions
Cloudy/Variable light lenses (like this one) provide the widest range of UV protection and visibility. With a Visual Light Transmission (VLT) rating that covers the middle of the spectrum, these are a great option if you need one lens to perform well in all conditions.
