Overview
The Spitfire 80HD Chargers Classic skateboard wheels are soft, smooth and promise lasting speed. Spitfire's 80HD formula prevents unwanted flex that occurs in other wheels of the same durometer. Essentially these wheels won't flex like most soft wheels, giving you the best of both worlds and a crazy smooth ride. The perfect wheels for a filmer, you'll be able to capture just like William Strobeck.

Wheel Profile

You may notice a discrepancy between what we designate a wide, standard or narrow and what the brands do. This classification is our opinion based on years of skating, as well as looking at the profile of the wheel as it compares to what we believe is a standard profile. You just have to trust us on this.

Wide - Wide wheels provide more traction and stability at high speed, so you'll be less likely to slip out of your line.

Surface Type

Smooth - Smooth wheels have a shiny coating on their surface that is commonly referred to as its skin or mold release. Smooth wheels are generally preferred for their grip and traction.

Key Features

80HD - These 80HDs are an exclusive 80 durometer high density speed urethane that cuts out unwanted wheel flex usually found in other soft wheels. These things are fast, soft and out of control.

Wheel Shape

Conical Shape - A true performance conical shape, hand cut for quick response and less weight.

Durometer

80a - Soft with plenty of grip. You'll be able to smoothly roll over rough surfaces without getting hung-up on cracks or small rocks. These wheels are slightly harder than the standard 78a and are easier to initiate into slides and drifts. They offer great slide control and are more durable, but won't slow you down as quickly as 78a wheels. Ideal for cruising, carving, freeride, and downhill. Also a good filming duro as its a bit faster than some of the softer varieties.

Urethane skate wheels generally range from 75a-101a, the numbers increase with the hardness of the wheel.

Spitfire Strobeck 80HD Charger Conical Skateboard Wheels - black (80d)
Very smooth ride. Goes over rocks and cracks well. Big enough to cruise yet small enough so you don't look like a kook
