Features

Axle/Kingpin Style

Hollow Kingpin - Lightening the load, hollow kingpins reduce weight for lighter feeling trucks, while still maintaining strength in this critical area.

Baseplate Style

Forged - Forged baseplates are compression molded making them lighter, stronger, and more impact resistant compared to cast or poured-mold baseplates. Forging also eliminates the most common manufacturing defects and imperfections.

Non-Compatible Risers

Risers from the following brands are not compatible with the baseplates of these trucks.

Arbor, Diamond, Dooks, Girl, Independent, Loaded, Paris, Rayne, Sector 9
Sizing Reference

Note - Every skate truck brand represents their sizing a little differently, so it's easy to get confused. Take a look at this graphic and then reference the size chart.

Light truck but weak bushing

Thunder Lights Skateboard Trucks - polished lights ii (147)
Skated these for a week. Top bushing split in half. Costumer service told me this was normal and not covered under warranty. Internet search shows that lots of people ride Thunders with blown bushings. They still skated alright but I just don’t think a bushing should blow out after a week. Especially at my low skill level lol. Gave em away.

Switched to these from 144 Indy stage 11s and won’t be going back. Love the way the lower profile pops and having a wider truck at less weight.

Grinds so smooth that I slipped out of a k grind and dislocated my elbow lol. 5/5 would recommend. Use with caution though haha.

Answered by Graig A (Tactics Employee) on 5/9/2018
Yes it will work however your trucks will be slightly wider than the width of your board.

What wheel size you recommend ?
Answered by Graig A (Tactics Employee) on 5/3/2017
Wheel size would be personal preference but most people stick around 53-55mm wheels. If you go any large we would recommend a riser pad

Asked by Sands on 2/25/2017
It says "non-compatible risers" and under it says "girl" as one. Does this mean these trucks will not fit a "Girl" deck?
Answered by Danny M (Tactics Employee) on 2/27/2017
This just means that risers from those companies will not be compatible with those trucks. The trucks will work on a Girl deck, just not Girl risers.

I'm a long term Thunder lover, I'm after the lightest weight, low trucks you make for my 8 inch deck.
Answered by Elijah W (Tactics Employee) on 6/20/2016
Then your best bet is the Hollow Lights in the 145(lo)
