Overview

The Titanium Lights 3 skateboard trucks are ultra-light, guaranteed strong and lightning quick. That may sound like a load of exaggerated hoopla, but it's the time-tested truth. Thunder Trucks are preferred by the pros for a reason.

Baseplate Style

Forged - Forged baseplates are compression molded, making them lighter, stronger, and more impact resistant in comparison to cast or poured-mold baseplates. Forged materials have a tighter molecular structure, which provides a stronger ride with less material. Forging also eliminates most common manufacturing defects and imperfections.

Axle/Kingpin Style

Hollow Kingpin - Lightening the load, hollow kingpins reduce weight for lighter feeling trucks, while still maintaining strength in this critical area.

Titanium Axle - Ultra-light and strong, titanium axles help provide you with the lightest trucks on the market. Titanium has the highest strength vs. weight ratio of any commercially used metal today, which means these axles can take the most damage with the least amount of weight.

Thunder Trucks Titanium Lights 3 Skateboard Trucks
First of all one of my axles wasn’t machined to exact diameter because the bearing wouldn’t go all the way on. Cranked down the wheel bolt and it squished it down but screwed up the bearing. I destroyed the bearing getting it off. Then I took small strip of sandpaper to take some material off that axle. Put on a spare bearing and it worked great. Other than that weird problem these are the best trucks you can buy. Diddnt even try the stock bushings went to bones hard and medium on 2 decks. I have a 147 on a 7.75” board and it works great. The other is a 148 for an 8.25. They’re so light and slick, really nice stuff from Thunder.

Great stock bushings, they carve well and are slightly lighter than the hollow lights.

Asked by Chris on 3/28/2018
What size for a 7.75 element deck with 54mm ricta cloud wheels?
Answered by Graig A (Tactics Employee) on 3/29/2018
The 7.6 or the 8.0 would work fine. If you intend on getting a larger size deck in the future we would recommend the 8.0

Asked by Vincent on 5/25/2017
Is this the "new" 149 ? (both silver and black)
On your picture, there is no "149" logo at the end of the hanger, like this : https://www.hollywood.se/images/275100/zoom.jpg
Answered by Danny M (Tactics Employee) on 5/25/2017
These are the new trucks and they do have the "149" logo like in the link that you provided, we just don't have it imaged on our site as it is only on one of the trucks in the pair.
