Baseplate Style

Forged - Forged baseplates are compression molded, making them lighter, stronger, and more impact resistant in comparison to cast or poured-mold baseplates. Forged materials have a tighter molecular structure, which provides a stronger ride with less material. Forging also eliminates most common manufacturing defects and imperfections.

Axle/Kingpin Style

Hollow Kingpin - Lightening the load, hollow kingpins reduce weight for lighter feeling trucks, while still maintaining strength in this critical area.

Titanium - Ultra-light and strong, titanium axles help provide you with the lightest trucks on the market. Titanium has the highest strength vs. weight ratio of any commercially used metal today, which means these axles can take the most damage with the least amount of weight.

Thunder Trucks Titanium Lights 3 Skateboard Trucks - polished (149 hi)
These trucks are by FAR the best I have ever skated. Super light, durable, polished plain silver with hollowed out kingpin and axle. They're a tech skaters DREAM. What more could you ask for?

30+ years of riding ONLY indy’s until I got these on my 45th birthday. So far LOVE them. Feel weird not riding Indys but getting used to it.

Thunder Trucks Titanium Lights 3 Skateboard Trucks
I've been skating for seventeen years and have been through just about every truck brand. The last few years I have been using Indy's but have found myself frustrated with them because they are always too loose, regardless of the bushings that I put in. Thunder was just about the only truck company I hadn't tried yet. I'm a freestyle skater and like to have the lightest possible trucks on my 8.25" setup, because I am often throwing my board around in weird ways. I have to say that these are hands down the best trucks I've ever skated. They are light as a feather, responsive, and since thunder manufactures bushings, it's easy to swap the soft stock bushings out with something harder. I'm incredibly happy with this purchase - it's worth every penny.

Thunder Trucks Titanium Lights 3 Skateboard Trucks - polished (147 hi):

I put together a new setup with an 8.25 deck. I bought these trucks since they are only 1mm higher than the Indys low, but are a lot lighter. The point was to go lower and wider with the setup. I remembered I bought some Sk8kings steel axle spacers 1/8" for a board a few years ago. I pulled off all of the stock speed rings, added the 1/8" spacers, then the wheels and then just the nyloc nuts. Voila... an 8.25 low and light Thunder Titanium truck... and it looks proper. I’ll post a review after I’ve spent some time on them.

Asked by Vincent on 5/25/2017
Is this the "new" 149 ? (both silver and black)
On your picture, there is no "149" logo at the end of the hanger, like this : https://www.hollywood.se/images/275100/zoom.jpg
Answered by Danny M (Tactics Employee) on 5/25/2017
These are the new trucks and they do have the "149" logo like in the link that you provided, we just don't have it imaged on our site as it is only on one of the trucks in the pair.
