The Mission Insulated Jacket is for the rider who is looking for style without compromising quality, at a price that won't leave you broke. With a V-Science shell and breathable lining, this jacket is built to keep you dry and mobile. Low-Loft insulation keeps you toasty, while a drawcord hood cinch, adjustable powder skirt, and cinch cuffs seal out the elements. A long EQS fit and removable faux fur hood give a stylish touch that won't go unnoticed, and plenty of pockets give ample room to stash your things. Topped off with artwork by Gemma O'Brien on the interior back lining to make this jacket a must for winter season.
Critically Taped - On outerwear with critically taped seams you only have taping at the key points where potential leakage can occur. This is acceptable, or even advantageous if you live in a dry climate, if you're more concerned with breathability than dealing with wet weather then outerwear featuring critically taped seams is the way to go.
Low-Loft Synthetic - Low-loft insulation provides warmth without losing versatility. Because low-loft insulation is made of synthetic fibers it maintains much of its insulating ability even when wet. A lower loft rating means it won't keep you as warm as jackets with high loft but it's more versatile and dries more quickly than traditional down.
Synthetic insulation is measured in grams, so a jacket with a 80g rating simply means that a 1 meter by 1 meter piece of that particular jacket's insulation weighs 80 grams. The higher the rating, the warmer the outerwear.
Zip Tech® Jacket to Pant Interface - Nothing lowers motivation faster than snow jammed down your pants and up the back of your jacket. A V-Co patented invention, the heavily imitated jacket-to-pant interface allows you to zip the powder skirt of any Volcom jacket to any Volcom pant, keeping snow out and heat in with no restriction of movement. Falling has never been more enjoyable.
