If you're looking for an affordable pair of snow overalls with a ton of tech and a high level of waterproofing and breathability, you're in luck because Volcom's new Swift is dominating the market. These bib pants are made with a V-Science 2-Layer Shell that provides 15k of weatherproofing to keep you dry in heavy storms, and fully taped seams protect against unwanted leakage. The V-Science Breathable Lining System keeps the air flowing throughout to keep you from overheating, and the Zip Tech® interface installed allows you to zip any compatible jacket to the waist of the pants to seal out the cold and snow. Plus, the whole thing is made with REPREVE® recycled fibers to reduce impact on the environment.
Fully Taped - Having outerwear with fully taped seams means that on the inside of the jacket all the seams are covered in tape to provide the most effective waterproofing. It can be considered a key feature if you live in a wet climate or are planning on wearing the jacket during heavy rains. The downside is that due to the full taping there is less breathability than you'd experience with critically taped seams.
REPREVE® Recycled Fiber - Transformed from plastic waste REPREVE® fibers maintain inherent material properties while working to meet their "30 billion recycled bottles by 2022" goal.
Zip Tech® Jacket to Pant Interface - Nothing lowers motivation faster than snow jammed down your pants and up the back of your jacket. A V-Co patented invention, the heavily imitated jacket-to-pant interface allows you to zip the powder skirt of any Volcom jacket to any Volcom pant, keeping snow out and heat in with no restriction of movement. Falling has never been more enjoyable.
