I have been skating mine for a month and a half and they just got a hole where I Ollie like a week ago. The sole is still chillin. The laces have ripped but they come with extra so no big deal. And after the suede rips you have a layer of canvas and then the elasticy material that hold the younger in place so that gives you a few extra days before it goes to your sock. They are also hesh so that's a bonus. Go buy them. They are the best shoes for anything you are doing. If you roll your ankle a lot then definitely get high top ones. The low tops are really low.

the suede is solid the rubber is great the shape of the shoe is trash though, it is too long if they widened the shoe up and made it shorter it would be amazing!

    Asked by Justin on 6/5/2016
I'm interested in buying a new pair suede chucks. Is the fit true to the size or should I buy them a half size smaller like the old chucks before Nike bought them?
Answered by Elijah W (Tactics Employee) on 6/6/2016
A half size smaller is perfect. Had to do the same with mine. Even though they are manufactured by Nike they go off relatively similar blueprints for the shoe.

How's the sizing on these compared to the Pappalardo's? I used to wear a size 11 in those while I normally wear a size 12 in other shoes.
Answered by James D (Tactics Employee) on 5/17/2016
Chuck Taylors are traditionally a longer fit. I usually wear a 10 in other shoes and I wear a 9 in these. They have a long and narrow fit though so if you like your shoes to have room for width don't get something too small.

    So if I normally wear a 13 should I order a 12 ?
Answered by Kayla P (Tactics Employee) on 10/24/2013
You should usually go a half size down in Converse

How's the sizing of these? Do they run larger like most Converse usually do?
    Answered on 8/14/2013
no, they are sized like most converse are sized. for example, if you normally wear a 9 in most shoes, you would wear an 8.5 in this shoe.

Lunerlon?? Is this a joke because these are the most low-tech shoes out there? Lol
Answered by Jesse C (Tactics Employee) on 4/22/2013
These are different than the classic Chuck Taylor shoes, which does have the same sole in the shoe since the 1960s. This skate shoe version of the shoe is improved for skating. The Lunarlon was developed by Nike running and is now used in skate shoes for more support, comfort, impact protection, better board feel and less weight.
