Globe Bantam 24 Inch Cruiser Review

The Bantam 24" Skateboard Cruiser Complete from Globe.

Come on and take a ride on the most innovative plastic cruiser on market, the Globe Bantam. The Bantam is Globe’s latest addition to their cruiser board line up. These may look like the boards of yesteryear, but they definitely are not.

Taking it back to the days when these were the only boards available to get your shred on, they have been reinvented and reissued in all their glory with some modern enhancements.

These little beasts have been tested on the streets, backyard pools and any ramps that happen to lay in the way.

        A:

Yeah, this will hold 160lbs no problem and would be a great board for a beginner who is looking to learn how to turn and maneuver a skateboard.

    • Q:

Just wondering which is the best. The bantam, penny, or stereo vinyl?
Asked on 2/18/2013 by Ralph from San Diego, CA

      • A:

Any of those boards will work great for you. They are all very similar. Another one to consider is also the Gold Cup Banana board.

    • Q:

How much weight this board can hold? (I'm about 216 lbs)
      Asked on 8/14/2012 by Blubb

      • A:

I wouldn't recommend a plastic board for that weight although i have seen people that size ride them. I would look into a bamboo deck.

They are both about the same.

Does it have a Tail on the back???

        A:

Yes, it does have a slight kick-tail on the back. This will help with making turns on this small of a set-up.
