The K2 Darko snowboard boots will satisfy the needs of the pickiest freestyle rider or park rat. The Street-Light outsole cuts unnecessary ounces and includes snow clearing lugs in the center for grip. K2 also added Harshmellow tech that reduces fatigue by dampening vibrations and absorbing rough impacts. Best of all, these boots come with a built-in Boa Conda lacing system that locks in your heel while allowing you to fine-tune your fit with a quick twist. If you're a rail rider at heart, but enjoy having the freedom to take on the whole mountain when necessary, you've found your friend in the Darko.

Ride Style

All Mountain - Whether you're doing hot laps, lazy groomers, ripping around or hammering the park on occasion - these boots provide versatile mobility that will allow you to shred virtually anywhere on the mountain in whatever condition. Slash a turn, tweak a grab, bonk a tree, ollie the cat track and be sure to high five your friends before getting back on the lift.

Ankle harnesses and higher grade liners are commonly found in higher end all-mountain boots for added comfort and support, while BOA dials or speed lacing found on certain models can add ultimate speed and convenience.

Park/Freestyle - Softer park boots will have better mobility for pressing/tweaking while mid to stiffer park boots offer more response and support when stepping up to the bigger features. Hot laps through the park, jibbing a box here, blasting a method there, back to the chair and all over again.

Articulating cuffs can add more comfort and a truer flex while zonal top and bottom lacing is often preferred for a more customized feel depending on your riding style. Some park boots often have dampening added to help reduce impact from big landings.

Flex Rating

SoftStiff - Mid-Flex - good response and power for all-around riding. Not too soft, not too stiff and good for all levels of riders.

Key Features

Boa Conda Liner Lacing - The Boa Conda system allows you to tighten, loosen or adjust your liner on-the-fly from the outside of your boot.

A patented Conda "chip" cups the ankle and top of the foot via a soft, flexible urethane structure. This spreads out the lacing pressure, dispersing lace tension for a comfortable, secure heel hold.

Harshmellow Impact Reduction - Formulated for long lasting impact absorption and vibration killing, the same Harshmellow material used in boards and bindings can be found in K2's boots. Integrated in the heel and forefoot areas of K2's top boots, minimizing rebound and making landings softer and more controlled.

Articulating Cuff - K2's articulated cuffs are performance constructed to provide you with a smooth and flexible feel without sacrificing support and durability. The shell is engineered to decrease shell distortion, which means consistent heel-hold with a full-flex range.

Street-Light Outsole - Designed to be as light as possible and have maximum traction. Constructed of a full perimeter of rubber and an interior of blown rubber to cut weight. Includes lark snow clearing lugs in the center for grip while you hike any rail, kicker or cliff drop.

Intuition Comfort Foam 3D Liner - Built for comfort and a long-lasting fit, this Intuition liner has a softer build, but won't pack out or lose fit. J Bars are added to support the ankle and promote heel hold in comfort.

Moldable Internal J-bars - Moldable internal liner J-bar with full body reinforcement for heel hold and powerful control.

Moldable External J-bars - Moldable external liner J-bar with full body reinforcement for heel hold and powerful control.

Die Cut EVA Footbed - Protects against unwanted shocks and impacts so you stay dialed in and ready for more.

K2 Darko Snowboard Boots
I mainly ride park and these boots are perfect for that but when i decide to go off the groomers and ride pow, these boots hold they're own and give me the support needed for that. 10/10, best boot I've ever owned.

do you ship to australia?
Answered by Tyler K (Tactics Employee) on 9/22/2014
Unfortunately, due to our dealer agreement, we are unable to ship certain brands out of the US. K2 is one of those brands. If you have a friend here in the US, we could always ship to them and they could ship the package to you, if not, you can always use a forwarding company.
