How does the Lib Tec,Ramp compare to the Channel Island ,average Joe ? Am almost 50 and only get to surf 4 x year and looking for more wave action being I have weak paddling skills from limited time in the water.

I would recommend going with the Average Joe, this board is more simple, fun, and easy to ride. The Lib Tech board is going to be more technical for doing quick, spinning type tricks, whereas the Average Joe will be more about control, comfort and increasing your wave count.
