Overview
Used by law officers in movies for years, the classic all American style of the Ray-Ban Aviator large RB 3025 polarized sunglasses never seem to fade away. Aviators were originally designed for U.S. Aviators back in 1937, yet after all these years they remain the freshest pair of sun cheaters you'll find.

Pro Tip: Are polarized sunglasses better? Are they worth the price?

In many cases, yes. All sunglasses reduce brightness and block some amount of harmful UV rays. However, only polarized sunglasses are scientifically constructed to eliminate glare. Not just reduce it, but eliminate it. Polarized sunglasses are ideal for driving, where you get glare from your dash, your windshield and other vehicles. They perform much better than standard sunglasses ā€“ reducing eye strain and helping you see better ā€“ around water, snow, sand or any other reflective surroundings.

Lens Tech

100% UVA/UVB Protection - These lenses provide complete protection from the harsh rays of the sun.

Polarized Lenses - Ray-Ban polarized lenses reduce reflections and enhance contrast to improve visual clarity and reduce eye strain. All Ray-Ban polarized lenses bear a distinctive ā€œPā€ next to the Ray-Ban logo on the right lens and are treated with an anti-reflective coating.

G-15 Technology - By absorbing 85% of visible light and blocking out most blue light, G-15 lenses ensure better clarity and remarkable color contrast, providing a more natural vision.

Impact Resistant - Ray-Ban lenses are 2x more resistant to impacts than the industry standard. All Ray-Ban lenses are tested to withstand the impact of a steel ball dropped from 1.27 meters.

Scratch Resistant - Ray-Ban lenses are tested to withstand 500 grams of a special abrasive sand oscillating for 600 cycles. Compared to the most commonly prescribed lenses (CR-39), Ray-Ban lenses are 12 times more resistant to scratching than the industry standard.

Element Proof - All Ray-Ban lenses must undergo 120 hours of exposure to UV light, moisture, heat, organic solvents, sea salt and sweat acidity, without exhibiting any visible change in the color or surface of the lens.

Frame Measurements (mm)

These measurements include the diameter of the lens, the width of the bridge and the length of the arms measured in millimeters. For example, a 59-15-135 frame breaks down like this:

Lens Diameter: 59mm
