Q:What way do you face them
A:There are a few preferred way to face the risers, it depends on what kind of ride you're looking for. The angled risers will change the pivot axis of the truck, which will change the overall turning radius. If you face the tapered ends towards the ends of the board so the thick ends are facing the middle of the deck, it will increase the turning but also making the board less stable at speed. If you flip them around so the tapered ends are facing the middle, you loose some turning ability but increase your stability. You can also face them so both tapered ends are facing towards the front of the board or even use a angled riser on the front and a flat riser on the back. It really depends on what type of ride you want.
