I have been using shorty's silverados since 1999 and have always been a fan of the smaller sized head of the hardware and the two silver bolts and the black ones that never you can always know which end is the nose super easily.

    Gotta love shorty's silverados bra!

I've been using Shortys Silverados mounting hardware for years now, great bolts. I like how low profile the nut is compared to other hardware. My only complaint would be that Tactics only carries the 7/8 size in phillips head, and I much prefer the allen head bolt.

You actually can get away with 1in hardware with the 1/8in shock pads. But I wouldn't go any longer than 1 1/8in
