The Contact Pro snowboard bindings are one of the lightest models in Union's line and feature a versatile medium flex highback along with a reduced baseplate footprint to minimize flex interference. Minimal binding-to-board contact allows your snowboard to flex naturally, dramatically enhancing the response of your ride and boosting overall performance. The light, comfortable Contact Pro highback comes designed and tested by Gigi Rüf with softer lateral flex for extra mobility, yet enough stiffness to let you crank up power and response when you need it. For pro-approved performance at a reasonable price, go with the Contact Pros.

Union Contact Pro Snowboard Bindings - black
These are likely the best bindings ever made to date. One downside is that someone who desires stiff highbacks won't find these completely satisfying. They might want to switch to different union highback.

Union Contact Pro Snowboard Bindings - black
First off, I'm a chick with size 10 feet so I generally wear guys' bindings just because though the girls' ones fit, they're usually stretched out as far as they can go and I like to be able to really play with my fit. I've been using the Burton Missions for ages and I really wanted an upgrade, so after much deliberation went with Contact Pro's in M/L. No regrets so far... feels like I went from driving a Honda to a BMW!

I was really floored about the exceptional amount of control I had despite their stellar range of motion and flexibility. Tight turns in trees felt way more dialed in and I felt like I could really get a lot of flex and motion in the ankle/foot region which actually helped me get a lot more power out of my legs.

The cushiness underfoot is awesome, too. I hit a couple of flat landings in the park and while that's never fun, they felt waaaay more dampened underfoot than anything I've felt before.

As far as the weight goes, that's great too! When I held a Burton and Union in each hand, I couldn't feel a huge difference in weight, but when I got the Contact Pro's on my board and underfoot, the difference was definitely noticeable.

    So far, I love them!

Union Contact Pro Snowboard Bindings - fluorescent orange
Best binding I've ever used, only design flaw is that the orange paint can get chipped easily.

Union Contact Pro Snowboard Bindings - black/red
Hiked up a quarter mile to demo these and bought them after the first 20 turns. These bindings increased the performance of my park board and all mountain free ride board. Now own two pair and plan on using these on any other boards I purchase. These are easy on the knees with padding and canting, carve better then any binding I have used and make park riding smoother. These bindings are the biggest change in equipment sense rocker camber.

Union Contact Pro Snowboard Bindings - freedom red/white
Have taught and studied snowboarding for six years riding for 14 and these bindings make everything easier. Carving is improved my the smaller footprint helps create leverage on the edge of the board. The EVA base allows board flex also improving carving. The EVA on the base of the binding makes a smoother ride and park riding forgiveness. This binding is going on all my snowboards, makes riding funner!

Union Contact Pro Snowboard Bindings - freedom red/white
I've always been a huge union binding fan. I was riding with the 2011/2012 union contact cmyk model. Decided to upgrade to this years contact pro. I must say they did a great job putting this years together. Lighter and the straps are super comfy. I would recommend anyone who does it all, all mountain freestyle, parkster, and those nice powder runs. These are great bindings.
