Vans AV Classic Skate Shoes - navy/gum
Where do I begin? This is my second pair and easily my favorite Vans from the past 30 years!! Sk8 Hi looks but low top with minimalist design - no funky ankle paddin;. thin tongue, Ortholite insole, vulcanized sole - you can't go wrong with this shoe. Super comfortable for skating - running out in the bowl or mini is no big deal. If you're a heel-flip the 12-stair gap kind, they may be a little rough but watch AVE's part in propeller and watch what he's doing to see if these would work for you. The soles on my first pair is nearly flat from skating but they're just as comfortable as this new pair and grip just as good. They look cool too - kind of have this late 1960s/ early 1970s style vibe going on.
