The Vans Chima Ferguson Pro skate shoes bring together timeless style and modern performance. These shoes are built on Vans' single-wrap Pro VULC construction with UltraCush Lite footbeds for impact protection and comfort.
  • Vulcanized
  • Original Waffle Outsole
  • Single-Wrap Pro VULC Construction
  • Duracap
  • UltraCush Lite

Vulcanized - “Vulc” shoes are light, flexible and break in quickly. The sole consists of several layers of rubber, glued together then attached to the upper with rubber foxing tape. Vulcanized soles don’t provide as much foot protection or support as cupsoles, but they are preferred if you’re looking for good board feel in a shoe with less weight and bulk.

Original Waffle Outsole - Back in '66 Paul van Doren made the first soles of his new shoes twice as thick so they would wear longer. That decision ended up defining the company when the world's first skateboarders discovered how Vans' Waffle Outsole let them feel their board while staying firmly connected to it.

Single-Wrap Pro VULC Construction - Lightweight to give you more air time. Single-Wrap Pro VULC combines more than 45 years of proven Vans vulcanized construction with modern cushioning technology to deliver the best board feel, flex and traction.

Duracap - Vans shoes with Duracap feature reinforced rubber underlays in the areas where your shoes wear out the fastest. Durcap was developed and tested to withstand the abuse of the Vans pro skateboarding team, and gives you added durability even if you skate daily.

UltraCush Lite - Vans' UltraCush Lite low-profile foam sockliner is ultralight and anatomically contoured for quick, responsive cushioning, providing a natural fit and ride.

Shoes are awesome, beautiful, comfy, only downside is that they run a teeny tiny bit big but other than that they are awesome shoes.

Vans Chima Ferguson Pro Skate Shoes - (covert twill) navy/gum
This show is durable and stylish. The darker sole is great for hiding scuffs, and the canvas upper is good for most all weather conditions. Overall the shoe seems a bit too narrow for my feet, but hopefully a bit more wear will break them in to a more comfortable fit.

Vans Chima Ferguson Pro Skate Shoes - (checkerboard) tan/blue
I bought this pair of shoes for my son who is 11 yrs old and has a big feet. He loves it. It looks very hip! Since It is not for my feet, I am not sure how comfortable it is. However, the sole has a very good cushion to support.

Vans Chima Ferguson Pro Skate Shoes
I bought this shoe a couple of months ago and didnt skate it till the past month. The canvas on the shoe rips rather quickly and I got an ollie hole in about a week. The toe takes a bit longer to wear down, but you have the rubber underneath which takes a bit longer to go through. I think I ate through the vulc faster than the rubber layer. The laces ripped rather quickly for me, but that always happens with my shoes. Also one con about these shoes for me was that my pinky toe would hurt after rubbing against the side of the shoe for weeks. It never really went away until my last couple weeks of skating them and by then the shoe was destroyed. I got the grey canvas version so I am assuming that is why the shoe tore away so quickly.
