YES and their good friends at PYZEL surfboards teamed up this season to create a go-anywhere do-anything board. It has a tapered MidBite shape that carves hard and loves parks and pipes, and a snappy core that can take a beating and still hold its pop. It also has slamback inserts in case it snows heavy and you want to get some pow laps in. One board to shred it all; let your imagination run wild.

Poplar / Paulownia Core

The weightless core strikes a critical balance between lightweight and strength. Using a lower density species of Poplar in areas that are not as structural and Paulownia in the areas that are, the builders were able to shave precious weight off the beloved design. This helps the board not only float, but “feel” floaty.

Tapered MidBite

Tight turns, stable landings and float. Tapered MidBite blends the response of a narrow waist width with the stability of a wider nose and narrower tail for powder flotation. The design steps a single section of each sidecut inwards between the insert packs. This single long disruption of the sidecut between the bindings cheats the waist width narrower, providing quicker edge-to-edge response. Meanwhile, from your bindings out to the end of the sidecut YES maintains a wider board width that improves float in pow and is a stable platform. The Step inwards on the front is deeper than Step outwards on the back creating a slight taper in the tail allowing the tail to be just a little narrower than the nose but without losing the twin feel.

Triax Fiberglass - A well balanced mix of fiber glass for a more torsionally responsive board.

Base

Sintered Spec Base - Somewhere between extruded and sintered, this base material is made from recycled sintered base materials from the factory floor. This makes for a fast base requiring less maintenance than a sintered base. Basically; a win-win scenario.

Warranty

Lifetime Warranty - Covered under manufacturer warranty for lifetime of the product with the original owner. Warranty only includes structural defects and DOES NOT cover impact damage, abuse, misuse or normal wear and tear expected from aggressive riding.

Sorry folks, but bashing your board on a rock or rail does not qualify as a "manufacturer's defect" and will not be honored.
